Description
Thin-Layer Mortar for Silicate and Aerated Concrete Blocks M15 Dublet
KGS-M15 adhesive is designed for thin-layer masonry of internal and external walls made of aerated concrete blocks, silicate blocks, and ceramic bricks.
KGS-M15 is a ready-to-use dry mix containing mineral binders, quartz fillers, and additives that improve the mortar's application properties. Once hardened, it is resistant to water and frost. It ensures thermal insulation in the joints between masonry elements, preventing the formation of thermal bridges.
Preparation of the Mortar
The KGS-M15 mortar should be prepared using a ratio of approximately 4.5 liters of water per 25 kg of dry mix.
Pour the dry mix into the measured amount of water and mix mechanically using a mixer or a concrete mixer until a uniform consistency is achieved.
Then, let it sit for about 5 minutes and mix again.
The fresh mortar should have the consistency of "thick cream."
After application to the masonry, the grooves created by the trowel should be uniform, without interruptions, tearing, or excessive spreading.
It is important to add the correct amount of water, as an improper ratio can alter the mortar's properties.
