Quartz primer Quartzite T-33

Quartzite T-33 is an innovative primer paint containing quartz sand, intended for use both inside and outside buildings.

It is a water-soluble product, ideal for preparing surfaces for acrylic and silicone plasters and ceramic tiles.

It can be used on a wide range of building materials, including acrylic and mineral plasters, concrete, bricks, plaster and plasterboards.

Thanks to its properties, Quartzite T-33 increases adhesion, strengthens the load-bearing capacity, uniforms the absorbency and cohesion of the substrate, while allowing the walls to "breathe".

Surface preparation and application of T-33 Quartzite:

• The product is ready for use immediately after opening, although if it thickens, it can be diluted by adding up to 5% water.
• Before application, the surface must be thoroughly cleaned of any contamination, such as loose paint flakes, dust, algae, lichens, and degreased.
• On new cement-lime plasters, priming is possible no earlier than 4 weeks after application.
• Smooth surfaces should be matt and any defects and cracks should be filled with appropriate agents. In the case of very absorbent substrates, it is recommended to use SIL-GRUNT by Pigment.
• Before painting, the contents of the package should be thoroughly mixed.
• In case of longer storage, a sediment of quartz crystals may appear at the bottom of the bucket, which does not negatively affect the quality of the product.
• The paint is applied evenly using a roller, brush or broom.
• It is important not to carry out painting works on facades during unfavorable weather conditions, such as rainfall, strong wind or intense sunlight, without appropriate protection.
• Freshly applied coatings should be protected against rain, frost and drying too quickly.
• The product should not be used under silicate plasters.
