Silicone Plaster SILIKON-T Dublet

The plaster is based on a water-based silicone dispersion, providing strong adhesion to the substrate and resistance to weather conditions after drying. 

The silicone resin enhances the functional properties of the plaster, giving it self-cleaning characteristics (beading effect), high vapor permeability, and hydrophobicity. 

The coloring system ensures resistance to fading and UV radiation. 

Thanks to dispersed reinforcement (microfibers), the plaster is resistant to microcracking. Application using spray machines is possible.

Preparing the substrate for the plaster:

• The substrate should be dry, stable, load-bearing, and free from contaminants that may reduce adhesion (e.g., dust, cement slurry, old paint coatings, formwork oil, grease). 
• Such contaminants should be removed mechanically. 
• In the case of biological contamination such as moss, algae, and fungi, they should be removed using appropriate biocidal agents. 
• Once prepared, the substrate should be primed with SILIKON-G silicone primer and protected against capillary water absorption and moisture. 
• The surface should be even and smooth.
• New substrates must be properly cured before priming.
