SILIKON-T Dublet Silicone Plaster

The plaster is based on a water-based silicone dispersion, which ensures strong adhesion to the substrate and weather resistance after drying.

Nobody likes to read long descriptions, so here are the main features in a short list:

1. Thanks to dispersed fiber reinforcement (microfibers), the plaster is resistant to microcracks. Application with spraying machines is possible.
2. Silicone resin improves the performance of the plaster, giving it self-cleaning properties (beading effect), high vapor permeability, and hydrophobicity.

Substrate Preparation for Plaster:

• The substrate should be dry, stable, load-bearing, and free of contaminants that may reduce adhesion (e.g., dust, cement laitance, old paint coatings, shutter oil, grease).
• Such contaminants must be removed mechanically.
• In the case of biological contamination such as moss, algae, and fungi, these should be removed with suitable biocides.
• The prepared substrate should be primed with SILIKON-G silicone primer and protected against capillary water absorption and moisture.
• The surface should be even and smooth.
• New substrates must be properly seasoned before priming.

The plaster is colored to individual customer order. Please consider your purchase carefully, as colored products from the mixer cannot be returned.
