ThermaGrunt-SN is a professional silicone plaster priming mass (primer), produced on the basis of high-quality synthetic resins and quartz flours. It is a ready-to-use preparation, created specifically for preparing the substrate before the application of thin-layer silicone plasters (e.g., ThermaTynk-SN).

Applications of ThermaGrunt SN silicone primer:

• For silicone plasters: It is a necessary base for ThermaTynk-SN plaster coats.
• Types of substrates: Intended for all level and load-bearing mineral substrates, including: concrete, cement and cement-lime plasters, gypsum-board, gypsum substrates.
• Application site: For both indoor and outdoor use.

Key properties of ThermaGrunt SN silicone primer: 

• Increased adhesion: The quartz sand content gives the surface roughness, which facilitates plaster application and improves its bonding with the substrate.
• Absorbency regulation: Evens out the substrate's absorbency, preventing the plaster from drying too quickly and avoiding spots.
• Water resistance and flexibility: After drying, it forms a weather-resistant coating while remaining vapor-permeable.
• Color protection: Limits the substrate color from showing through the plaster structure (especially important for "scratched" texture or low grain sizes).
• Tinting possibility: Available in white or tinted to match the color of the plaster.
• Mix the product thoroughly before use to unify the consistency. 
• Do not dilute with water or combine with other materials. 
• The substrate for priming should be dry, stable, and cleaned of dust and grease. 
• For new cement plasters, a seasoning period of at least 28 days should be maintained before priming.
