To build a suspended ceiling from Regips, in addition to CD-60 and UD-30 profiles, you need several accessories such as:

1. Ceiling hangers.

Necessary material for the installation of CD 6o main profiles. We divide them into several types according to their purpose.

  • The ES hanger is a standard ceiling hanger, it is mounted on horizontal surfaces, such as a curved ceiling that is to be covered with a suspended ceiling. It comes in sizes 75 mm, 125 mm, 175 mm, 225 mm, 275 mm, 325 mm, and 375 mm.
  • The mushroom hanger is used to build structures on slopes, for example in the attic. It is attached to wooden rafters. Attic hangers work better than ES hangers on sloping surfaces. It comes in two basic sizes: 180 mm and 270 mm
  • The spring-loaded swivel hanger is the most commonly used hanger because you can perfectly level the ceiling surface without the help of a laser. The WOBR hanger requires a rod with an eye for installation. Thanks to this system, you can lower the suspended ceiling by up to 2 m.

2. Connectors for CD profiles

Another necessary accessories for installing a plasterboard ceiling. We divide them into:

  • Cross hanger that allows you to build a truss on the ceiling. Cross ceiling construction is required in larger areas, such as a living room. There is only one size of this hanger and it is standardized.
  • A longitudinal hanger allows you to connect two Cd 60 profiles along the length. It is required when the length of the room exceeds 4 m. The longest generally available Cd 60 profile has a maximum length of 4 m.
  • The cross hanger allows you to connect two main profiles crosswise, i.e. at an angle of 90 degrees. A great solution for open spaces that are not rectangular or square in shape.

3. Other accessories useful when building structures from plaster profiles.

  • Rod with eye for hanger with spring. It is attached to the ceiling with molly pins or dowels and then a WOBR hanger is attached to it. It is immediately available in lengths of 25 cm, 50 cm, 75 cm, 100 cm
  • The acoustic tape is glued to U and sometimes C profiles used to build partition walls made of plasterboards. It dampens vibrations traveling across the floor. Prevents cracks from forming on the joints of gypsum boards.
  • Fliselin also called fliselin. Together with plaster, it is used to reinforce plaster joints. The cheapest material for this type of work.
  • American Tuff Tape is the best choice when you want to connect plasterboards without the risk of cracks. It is the most expensive option, but also the safest option.
  • Drywall screws are actually black fine-pitch metal screws. Unfortunately, they are susceptible to corrosion and their production is very harmful to the environment. Therefore, they will soon be replaced with hardened screws.
  • Dowels for mounting profiles to flat surfaces in mineral substrates such as concrete or suporex. The most popular are quick-assembly pins. However, professionals use them less and less in favor of molly dowels and dowels that swell in the hole.
