Bolix Sil Silicone Facade Paint

Bolix Sil is a high-quality silicone facade paint designed for creating durable, decorative, and protective paint coatings on external building walls. 

The paint combines hydrophobic properties, high vapor permeability, and color stability, making it ideal for both new constructions and renovation projects.

Key properties of Bolix Sil

• very high resistance to weather conditions and UV radiation – thanks to the use of UV absorbers,
• increased resistance to the growth of algae and fungi,
• enhanced resistance to efflorescence (lime deposits) – the paint contains a calcium ion blocking system, so-called efflorescence blockers.

Bolix Sil color range

• available in the BOLIX SPEKTRUM 300+ palette and special colors made to order,
• stable, long-lasting colors thanks to UV-protective components,
• possibility of application on BOLIX RIBBED EFFECT PANEL boards (base 00RIBBED only).

Applications of Bolix Sil paint

• thin-layer plasters (including insulation systems on EPS and mineral wool),
• cement and cement-lime plasters,
• fiber-cement boards,
• concrete, brick, ceramics, silicate substrates,
• sound, well-adhering old coatings,
• BOLIX RIBBED EFFECT PANEL boards (dedicated base 00RIBBED).
• The paint is suitable for both new facade painting and renovation of existing buildings.

Application method of Bolix Sil paint

• apply with a brush, roller, or spray,
• 2 even coats are recommended,
• apply the second coat after the first has dried (min. 2 hours).

BOLIX RIBBED EFFECT PANEL boards

• apply paint with a brush only,
• first coat diluted (10%),
• at least 2 coats, maintaining a minimum 12-hour interval,
• paint must be thoroughly worked into the grooves,
• do not use rollers – risk of scratches and build-ups.
• avoid dark colors on large, heavily sunlit facades (HBW < 30); if necessary, use paints tinted with cool pigments.
