Description
Epimal Steel epoxy anti-corrosion paint
Epimal Stal paint is a two-component water-soluble epoxy paint used for priming steel surfaces. It can also be used to paint construction surfaces such as concrete, plaster or brick.
It is an anti-corrosion paint, resistant to aggressive chemicals, including diluted acids, alkalis, salts, oils, greases, fuels, solvents and detergents.
It contains anti-corrosion pigments safe for health and the environment, as well as a water dispersion of epoxy resin and chemically resistant mineral and synthetic fillers.
In order for a painted element, e.g. a metal drinking water tank, to obtain the PZH certificate, it is required to apply 1-2 layers of Epimal steel and 2-3 layers of Epimal 200 (depending on the technical specification of the order).
The product with PZH Certificate allowing coatings for indirect contact with food is Epimal 200 topcoat.
Preparing the surface for painting and using Epimal Steel:
- Make sure that the substrate is load-bearing, clean, degreased and rust-free.
- Old paint coatings should be removed and smooth surfaces should be matt.
- The paint should be thoroughly mixed with the hardener and used within 2 hours of preparation.
- The composition of the paint must not be modified by adding other substances
