Description
Sabulador matt Valpaint is a matt interior decorative paint with a sand effect, covering 8-9 m² per litre, in 1 l, 2.5 l and 5 l packs. It is the matt counterpart of Sabulador lux - the same sand texture, but without the sheen.

A matt sand texture looks different on the wall than in a photo, and the colour on a phone screen always differs a little from the real one. Before you choose a number, get in touch - we will help you choose the colour and pack size, and for a top-up we will check the number from your previous order.

What is Sabulador matt Valpaint matt paint?
Sabulador matt Valpaint is a matt interior decorative paint that gives the wall the look and texture of matt sand. It is the matt counterpart of Sabulador lux: instead of a pearly metallic sheen, you get a calm, matt sand finish.
The paint is applied with a decorative brush over PrimArt 600 base paint. The coat needs no extra protection, withstands abrasion and scrubbing, and the sand texture evens out unevenness in the wall.
Sabulador matt in figures and benefits
| Feature | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| Matt sand effect | The wall has a sand texture without sheen - calmer than Sabulador lux. |
| Three pack sizes | 1 l is enough for 8-9 m², 2.5 l for 20-22.5 m² and 5 l for 40-45 m². |
| No protection needed | Once dry, the coat is finished, with no extra protective layer. |
| Washable and abrasion resistant | You remove dirt with water and detergent, even by scrubbing. |
| Evens out unevenness | The matt sand texture hides wall irregularities that would show under a smooth paint. |
| Walls, wood, furniture | With the same matt sand you can finish a plastered wall and the furniture that goes with it. |
Where Sabulador matt works best
- Plastered interior walls - matt sand where a sheen would be too striking.
- Wood - wooden elements in the same texture as the wall.
- Furniture - a matt furniture finish matched to the colour of the walls.
- Uneven walls - the matt texture works in your favour.

Which base paint goes under Sabulador matt?
PrimArt 600. Its coverage is 12-14 m² per litre, it is sold in 1 l, 2.5 l and 5 l packs, and you can order it white or tinted to match the finish.
Does Sabulador matt need to be sealed with varnish?
There is no need - the matt coat does fine without extra protection. It is abrasion resistant, and you can wash off dirt, or even scrub it, with water and detergent.
Can I paint furniture and wood with Sabulador matt?
Yes. The paint is suitable for plastered walls, wood and furniture, always over PrimArt 600 base paint.
Is Sabulador matt suitable for exterior use?
No, it is an interior paint. A matt sand effect for facades comes from Sabulador Exterior, available as a separate product.
Will Sabulador matt hide unevenness in the wall?
Yes, the matt sand texture evens out wall unevenness well.
What do I apply Sabulador matt with?
You apply the paint with a decorative brush, for example the PV 76 70 mm Valpaint, and PrimArt 600 base paint with a roller. New to decorative finishes? Call us before you buy and we will talk you through it.
