Clinker Mortar with Trass Additive ZK Dublet

Clinker mortar is a ready-to-use dry mix that can be used immediately after adding water. It has a gray color and is characterized by good workability and high adhesion to the substrate. Once hardened, thanks to its low water absorption and good vapor permeability, it effectively limits the formation of salt efflorescence.

Preparation of the Mortar:

The clinker mortar should be prepared using a ratio of 2.25 – 2.75 liters of water per 25 kg of dry mix. 

Pour the measured amount of water into a container, add the dry mix, and mix mechanically using a mixer or a concrete mixer until a homogeneous consistency is achieved. 

Then, leave it to rest for about 5 minutes, after which mix again. 

Properly prepared mortar should have the consistency of "moist, crumbly soil," which can be formed into a compact ball when pressed. 

This consistency facilitates masonry work and minimizes contamination of clinker bricks during application.
