Description

The 5-litre tin of Arteco 7 covers 35-40 m² in a single coat - material for a hallway, a staircase or several walls in one shade of Venetian clay.

The producer recommends Arteco 7 precisely for large surfaces, because once fully cured the coating takes impacts and normal wear. We tint the colour to your order - work out the quantity with the calculator on this page, or send us the square metres and we will calculate the material and prepare a quote.

What you will see in the video (3:29)

The producer’s time-lapse video shows the application of Arteco 7 decorative paint in colour 513 A1. It is a variant with the metallic L50 additive, so you can see the metallic sheen and the characteristic black flecks on the decoration.

With a large area, choose the colour especially carefully - the same clay reads differently in a narrow corridor under artificial light and on a staircase with a window. Borrow the sample board and look at the shade on site before you order the whole batch tinted.

Arteco 7 - Venetian clay for large surfaces

Arteco 7 is a water-based decorative paint with a Venetian clay effect, intended for interiors. The producer recommends it for large wall surfaces, hallways and staircases, because once fully cured the coating is resistant to impacts and normal wear, and breathable at the same time. You choose the finish at ordering: matte with no additives, a metallic sheen with black flecks with the L50 additive, colour flakes with P40, and gilded and silvered options are available too. Application takes a decorative brush and a plastic spatula.

Where the large tin of Arteco 7 works best

This is the variant for surfaces where smaller tins would have to be counted by the piece:

  • hallways and staircases - the places the producer names outright as natural for this paint;
  • large wall planes in open-plan living rooms and open spaces;
  • commercial premises and offices, where the decoration works on a customer's first impression;
  • entrance zones, which the metallic L50 version gives a striking character.

You will find the other products from this group in the Decorative Paints category.

Frequently asked questions about the 5-litre Arteco 7

How many square metres does the 5-litre tin cover?

The 5-litre tin covers 35-40 m² in a single coat - material for a hallway with a staircase or several walls in one shade. Work out the exact quantity for your area with the calculator on this page.

When does 5 l make more sense than smaller tins?

When one surface outgrows the smaller tins - hallways, staircases, large wall planes. You then run the whole surface from one bucket, without opening the next tin halfway through the job. If you are starting from a bare wall, take the set with the primer, and for a colour test - the 1-litre tin.

Will a staircase not wear the decoration down?

Once fully cured, the coating is resistant to impacts and normal wear, and the producer recommends Arteco 7 precisely for large wall surfaces, hallways and staircases. This is a decoration made for places people walk through.

Which primer for such a large area?

The same as for smaller areas: Primart 600, applied with a paint roller before the decorative paint. You will find it in Related products.

On a large wall, is the matte or the metallic version better?

Both have their place: matte gives a calm background in circulation areas, while the L50 additive gives a metallic sheen with the characteristic black flecks that plays well in an entrance zone. P40 colour flakes enrich the texture. You tick the additives on the selection list together with the colour, with the surcharge shown at the entry.

How do I keep a hallway wall clean?

From 15 days after application you wash marks off with water and ordinary detergents. Protect spots exposed to scrubbing with a sealer: Finish V18 Opaco for the matte version, Finish V18 Lucido for a decoration with L50, and the hardest-worked zones with the two-component Kit Top Coat lacquer.

I would rather hire a professional - how much does it cost?

As a reference, in Poland professional application usually costs 30-60 PLN per m² depending on the region - the rate covers painting the primer and the Arteco 7 clay, without wall preparation. Calculate the material for your area with the calculator on this page.

Can I return tinted paint?

No - colours prepared to individual order are not returnable, and with 5 litres a mistake costs the most. Before you order, borrow the Arteco 7 sample-board catalogue and look at the shade on site, in the light of your hallway or staircase.

Every colour is tinted to your individual order, so under Polish consumer law (art. 38.1.3 of the Consumer Rights Act) tinted paint cannot be returned. Before you place the order, check the shade on the sample board and calculate the quantity - and if this is your first contact with Venetian clay, test the colour with the 1-litre tin.

Sample board photographs are for illustration only and may differ slightly from the real colours, which is affected by monitor and graphics card settings.
