Mixtion Metal Leaf Adhesive, 100ml
Mixtion is a specialized adhesive for gold and silver leaf (imitation metal leaf). This acrylic-based glue allows for quick and easy application—you can begin gilding after approximately 40 minutes (or as soon as the adhesive starts becoming transparent).
Apply it in an even, thin layer onto a primed surface, taking care to avoid drips. Before applying the leaf, the adhesive layer must be completely dry (it will turn from milky-white to transparent). Applying leaf to wet adhesive will ruin the final effect.
If you accidentally stain plaster in an undesired area, fresh spots can be removed with warm water. If the adhesive has already dried, a solvent will be required; however, we cannot guarantee that it won't damage the surrounding decoration.
After application and water evaporation, it remains in a state of permanent tackiness; only then is it ready for use as a self-adhesive layer. It creates strong, transparent bonds. This 100ml bottle of Mixtion should be sufficient for applying approximately 2 packs of metal leaf.
