What is the Sabulador Valpaint metallic sand effect?
Sabulador Valpaint is an interior decorative paint that creates the look and texture of metallic sand: a pearly metallic sheen broken up by fine matt aggregate. The set contains the Sabulador lux version, which is applied over PrimArt 600 base paint.
The sand texture evens out unevenness in the wall well, and the finished coat needs no extra protection. Sabulador works not only on plastered walls but also on wood and furniture.

How many m² does the Sabulador Valpaint set cover?
Up to 9 m², and 8 m² on average - that is the figure worth planning with. For a larger wall, the calculator on this page will work out the number of sets.
Can I buy Sabulador lux paint on its own?
Yes. Sabulador lux paint is available separately in 1 l, 2.5 l and 5 l packs, covering 8-9 m² per litre. It is useful if you run out of paint or already have base paint on the wall.
What is in the set and what do I need to apply it?
The set contains 1 l of Sabulador lux decorative paint and 1 l of PrimArt 600 base paint. You apply the base paint with a paint roller and Sabulador with a decorative brush, for example the PV 76 70 mm Valpaint brush.
Does Sabulador need to be sealed with varnish?
No, the paint does not need extra protection. It is abrasion resistant, and you can wash off dirt, even scrub it, with water and detergent.
Is Sabulador lux matt or glossy?
It has a pearly metallic sheen broken up by fine matt aggregate. As a result, the wall does not shine uniformly but looks like metallic sand.
Can I paint furniture and wood with Sabulador?
Yes. Sabulador is suitable for plastered walls, wood and furniture. On each of these surfaces you start with PrimArt 600 base paint.
Can I create the metallic sand effect myself?
You need two tools: a roller for the base paint and a decorative brush for Sabulador. The guide linked below explains the Sabulador lux finish in more detail. If you are painting a decorative effect for the first time, get in touch before you buy - we will advise you.
Is Sabulador suitable for exterior use?
No, the Sabulador in this set is an interior paint. For exteriors, a separate version, Sabulador exterior, is used.
How do I choose the colour and can I return the set?
You choose the colour from the Sabulador sample book, and we tint the paint to your order, which is why the set cannot be returned. For some colour numbers the product page shows a colour surcharge. To avoid buying blind, borrow the sample book: you send it back undamaged within 30 days and we refund its cost within 7 days, excluding delivery costs.
We tint Sabulador to your order. Products mixed in the tinting machine to the customer's specification cannot be returned under Polish consumer law (art. 38.1.3 of the Consumer Rights Act). Before you order, check the colour in the Sabulador sample book and work out the quantity with the calculator on this page.
