What is the Meteore 8 metallic effect?
Meteore 8 is a high-quality, water-based decorative mass for interiors that combines a distinct structure with a metallic melange — the wall looks like the surface of a meteorite, with a play of light that changes with the viewing angle. The finish is satin, and from the same set you can create four different finishes: Liscio, Spatolato, Fiorato and Venato — all applied in a single coat with a venetian trowel.

Yes — that is one of the main uses of this mass: home kitchens and the interiors of restaurants, bars and hotels. The metallic effect builds a premium-class interior without the cost of stone cladding.
Can I use Meteore 8 in a bathroom?
Yes — outside the shower zone. You can create the effect in a living room, bathroom and kitchen; the coating is not meant to withstand direct, constant contact with a stream of water, so finish the wall inside the shower with a different material.
Can I get a matte version?
Yes — without the metallic waxes the Meteore 8 mass is matte. It is the waxes that add the sheen and the metallic melange; the mass alone creates a structural effect in matte.
How does tinting work and can I return the product?
The decorative mass is tinted to your individual order according to Valpaint colour cards. Products from the mixing machine cannot be returned — so before buying, use our sample-board lending service: a colour on a screen is not the colour on a wall, and we ship a catalogue with real structures and colours to view at home.
