Description
Barlinek wood pellet
Pellet is a solid wood biofuel intended for combustion in modern boilers, fireplaces and burners to generate thermal energy for heating purposes.
It is suitable for a wide range of facilities that need thermal energy, from residential houses to industrial halls.
It can also replace oil burners in oil boilers with pellet burners.
Composition of Barlinek pellets:
- These are compressed granules made of dry, ground and clean wood sawdust.
- Pellets consist of 70% coniferous sawdust and 30% hardwood sawdust, although the composition may vary depending on the wood materials processed.
Characteristics of Barlinek pellets:
- High caloric value: min. 4.9 kWh from a kilogram of pellets (1 ton of pellets replaces 470 liters of fuel oil, 572 m³ of natural gas, 429 liters of LPG gas or 0.79 ton of coal, e.g. eco-pea coal).
- After burning, a small amount of ash remains (≤ 0.6%).
- Easy to store.
- The ash produced after burning can be used as fertilizer for lawns or gardens.
- The amount of CO2 generated when burning pellets is equal to the amount absorbed by growing plants during photosynthesis.
- It does not contain harmful substances, does not emit any bothersome or unpleasant odors, does not cause allergies and is clean to use, not dirtying rooms like other solid fuels.
Storing Barlinek pellets:
- The bags are placed on a pallet measuring 1.2 m x 0.9 m, secured with stretch foil and a foil hood.
- Each bag weighs 15 kg, with 66 bags per pallet, for a total of 990 kg.
- It is recommended to store in a dry place, not exposed to direct precipitation, on pallets to isolate it from the ground.
- The storage room should have a roof that prevents condensation of water vapor, ventilation and a floor with tight moisture insulation.
- The relative humidity should be up to 65% and the temperature should range from +1°C to +28°C.
Barlinek pellet certificates:
- The pellets meet the requirements of the EN Plus A1 standard, with specific values for diameter, length, moisture content, ash content, ash melting point, calorific value, bulk density, fines content and mechanical strength.
- The product is DIN Plus and EN Plus certified, ensuring compliance with international standards ISO 17225-2.
