What is the Meteore 10 concrete effect?
Meteore 10 is a Valpaint decorative plaster that creates a concrete look on the wall - you apply it with a trowel in a single coat and seal it with an impregnating finish. It looks like microcement, but you get a ready product: tinted to your colour, with no water to add and no mixing on site.
The material contains fine, good-quality aggregate, so it spreads comfortably and gives an even, attractive concrete pattern. Once sealed, the finish does not absorb water, so you can also use it in kitchens, bathrooms and hallways.

Frequently asked questions about the Meteore 10 concrete effect kit
How many square metres does the kit cover and what exactly do I get?
The 5 m² kit contains 4 l of Meteore 10 plaster in your chosen colour, 1 l of Primer 1200 and 1 l of Finish V18 sealer. The 15 m² kit holds 12 l of plaster, 2 l of primer and 2 l of sealer. For a larger area, combine kits or work out the material with the calculator on this page.
Why is the kit sized for 5 m² when 4 l of plaster covers 4-6 m²?
The manufacturer gives coverage as a range: 4-6 m² from the 4 l pack and 12-18 m² from the 12 l pack. We size the kits from the middle of that range, 5 m² and 15 m², so you do not run short on an uneven substrate. On a smooth, even wall the same kit will cover a little more.
How many coats do I apply and do I need to dilute anything?
You apply one coat of the material with a trowel, after priming the wall with Primer 1200. The plaster is ready to use - you do not add water or tint it on site, because we prepare the colour before shipping. Finally you protect the decoration with Finish V18 sealer.
Can I do the Meteore 10 concrete effect myself?
It is one of the simpler trowel decorations: ready material, one coat and a sealer on top. The concrete look does depend on how you move the trowel, so if you have not worked with decorative plasters before, start with a smaller wall and the 5 m² kit. If you would rather hand it to a professional, a decorator with trowel experience will handle it comfortably.
Can I use Meteore 10 in a bathroom or outdoors?
Yes - the sealed finish does not absorb water, so it works in bathrooms, kitchens and hallways. The plaster itself can be used inside and outside buildings. This kit is put together for interiors, so if you plan a facade or a garden wall, write to us before ordering and we will select the materials for outdoor conditions.
How do I choose the colour and can I return the kit?
You choose the colour from the Meteore 10 sample book - photos on screen show the shade only approximately, so we recommend borrowing the sample book and comparing it in the light of your own room. We tint the plaster to your order, so tinted colours cannot be returned. Work out the quantity with the calculator on this page so you do not buy surplus you will not use.
What is the difference between the kit and the Meteore 10 plaster alone?
The kit gives you the full set: plaster, Primer 1200 and Finish V18 sealer in amounts matched to the area. The Meteore 10 bucket alone, in 4 l or 12 l, is sold separately - an option for people who already have the primer and sealer or are adding plaster to an earlier order.
We tint the plaster to your order. Colours prepared to the sample book are made to your individual specification and, under Polish consumer law (art. 38.1.3 of the Consumer Rights Act), cannot be returned. Before ordering, check the shade on the sample book and work out the quantity with the calculator on this page.
