What is the Cemento Large effect Meteore 10?
Cemento Large is a Valpaint wall decoration on Meteore 10 plaster that reproduces large concrete slabs: you form deep pits in the fresh plaster, mark the division lines once it is dry, and the tinted C100 Over glaze adds colour and brings out the texture. The wall gains the pronounced texture and depth of raw concrete, while the warm shade of the glaze keeps the room cosy.
The kit is sized for 15 m² and contains the three products needed for the effect on interior walls: primer, plaster and glaze.

How to create the Cemento Large effect step by step
- Paint the wall with Primer 1200.
- Once the primer is dry, apply Meteore 10 with a trowel.
- Form the pits in the fresh plaster.
- Wait for the plaster to dry off and mist it lightly with water.
- Smooth the surface with a trowel.
- After it has dried completely, usually 24 h, mark the guide lines between the slabs.
- Apply the tinted C100 Over glaze.
- Once dry, touch up the lines - the effect is finished.

How many square metres does the Cemento Large kit cover?
The kit is sized for 15 m² of wall: 12 l of Meteore 10 plaster, 2 l of Primer 1200 and 5 l of tinted C100 Over glaze. For a larger area, the calculator on this page works out how many kits or which components to add.
How long does drying take between the stages?
You apply the plaster once the primer is dry, and you mark the slab division lines only after the plaster has dried completely, usually after 24 hours. The glaze goes onto a dry wall, and you touch up the lines once it has dried too - spread the work over at least two days.
Can I do the Cemento Large effect myself?
The video above shows the whole process in just over two minutes - forming the pits and marking the lines takes some trowel practice, but there is no stage here you cannot repeat after watching. If this is your first decoration, start with a less visible wall or hand the job to a professional decorator.
How do I set the size of the concrete slabs on the wall?
You draw the guide lines yourself once the plaster is dry, so you decide the slab size on site - match it to the proportions of the wall and lay it out so that cut slabs do not land at the edges. After the glaze goes on you touch up the lines, as shown at the end of the video.
Which rooms is this effect for?
Cemento Large is intended for interior walls - best on large, well-visible surfaces in a living room, hall, office or commercial space, because the slab division needs room. If you plan it in a bathroom or kitchen, write to us before ordering and we will advise whether and how to protect the wall additionally.
What colour is the kit and can I return it?
The colour comes from the C100 Over glaze, which we tint to your chosen shade from the Meteore 10 sample book - you can borrow the sample book from us and compare it in your own light. Tinted colours are prepared to order, so they cannot be returned; work out the quantity with the calculator so you are not left with surplus.
How does Cemento Large differ from the plain Meteore 10 concrete effect?
Plain concrete is one smooth coat of Meteore 10 closed with a sealer. In Cemento Large you form deep pits in the same plaster, divide the dry wall into large slabs with lines, and instead of a sealer you apply tinted C100 Over glaze, which adds colour and brings out the texture - hence the 5 l of glaze in the kit and more stages of work.

Colours prepared to the sample book are made to your individual specification and, under Polish consumer law (art. 38.1.3 of the Consumer Rights Act), cannot be returned.
