Armonie d'argilla Valpaint plaster
Armonie d'argilla is a plaster resembling natural clay.
Description
Clay-Based Plaster Armonie d'argilla Valpaint
It is a thick-layer decorative interior coating based on natural clay, designed to enhance the character of interiors with a velvety texture effect and elegance that is both visible and tangible to the touch.
It is a water-thinnable plaster intended for interior use.
Main features of Armonie d'argilla:
- allows application of thick layers even on uneven surfaces
- ensures very good adhesion and ease of application
- provides a velvety, slightly grainy finish
- enables various effects thanks to natural additives (wood chips, coffee, marble)
- very high vapor permeability – supports a healthy indoor climate and prevents mold
- not just a decorative compound – it is a conscious aesthetic and ecological choice
Surface preparation and application of Armonie d'argilla:
The surface must be stable and clean, free of dust, grease, wax, and silicone. Remove peeling old coatings, clean the surface, and fill any defects.
Then apply Primer 1200, and after 6 hours or once dry, Armonie d'argilla can be applied.
After approx. 24 hours (for effects with additives), the surface can be sanded with sandpaper (grit 80) to highlight the texture.
Finally, FINISH V 10 Opaco can be applied as an additional layer. The sealer can be applied after 24 hours in 1–2 coats (with a 4-hour interval between coats). Note that after applying Finish V10, the plaster color may darken.
Application methods
- Natural effect (faithful reproduction of the raw, organic structure of the material):
Apply one layer with a stainless steel trowel. Spread the material with irregular movements in different directions.
Wait approx. 20 minutes (at 20°C). Take a clean trowel (without material) and: glide it at an angle over the surface, make cross movements (in all directions). During partial drying: smooth the surface with light, irregular movements and control the effect until the desired look is achieved.
- Smooth natural effect (natural structure but more subtle and smoother surface):
Apply the first layer with a trowel – movements in different directions. Wait approx. 8 hours. Apply the second layer in the same way.
When the material starts to dry: smooth the surface with a trowel using gentle, irregular movements.
- Special effects (Wood Chips, Mocha, Marble, Earth):
Add the appropriate additive to the product and apply one layer in different directions.
