Klondike Light Valpaint is a water-based interior decorative paint with a rust effect in light colours - one litre covers 4-6 m² of wall in two coats.
You can choose a 2.5 l tin for 10-15 m² or a 1 l tin for 4-6 m², which you can treat as a sample for testing the application and checking the colour live. You are buying the paint alone, without primer, tinted to the Klondike Light colour chart, and the calculator on this page will match the tin sizes to your wall area.

What is Klondike Light decorative paint?
Klondike Light is a modern water-based Valpaint decorative paint for interiors that recreates a rust effect in a light palette - mostly matt colours refined with metallising shades of gold and silver. Within the Klondike family it is the latest version of the effect, created as a collection of light colours.
You can apply the paint to a wide range of surfaces, and the finished coating is highly washable, optically hides irregularities and withstands high temperatures.

Frequently asked questions
How many m² will a 1 l tin cover, and how many a 2.5 l tin?
With a coverage of 4-6 m² per litre in two coats, a 1 l tin is enough for 4-6 m² and a 2.5 l tin for 10-15 m². The actual result depends on the surface and the application method.
Which tin size should I choose for a 12 m² wall?
On an absorbent or rough wall you need up to 3 l of paint, so a 2.5 l tin plus a 1 l tin. On a smooth surface the 2.5 l tin alone may be enough. The calculator on this page will give you a reliable answer.
Is primer included in the tin?
No, you are buying the decorative paint only. Under Klondike Light we use Primer 1000 Valpaint, which you can buy separately, or you can choose the set that already includes primer.
How many coats do I apply and when can I apply the second?
Klondike Light is applied in two coats. At 20 °C the surface dries after 2 hours, the second coat goes on after 5-6 hours, and the finish fully hardens after 24 hours.
Can I manage the application without experience?
In the video we show three application methods step by step. First practise your chosen method with a 1 l tin on a piece of board, and only then move on to the wall.
Which surfaces and places is this paint suitable for?
Klondike Light is intended for interiors only, so do not use it on facades. You can apply it to a wide range of surfaces: walls, including heated ones, fireplaces, joinery, furniture and metal.
How do I get a golden or silver glow?
Choose a colour with the Gold G100 additive for a golden glow or Silver G200 for a silver one. Some colours are also available with Star G300, which gives the colour even more charm. You pay for the additive when choosing the colour.
Can I return the paint if I do not like the colour?
No, because we tint the paint specifically to your order. That is why, before buying, you should borrow the Klondike Light sample catalogue or order a 1 l tin and check the colour on your own wall.
Important: we tint every tin of Klondike Light individually to your order, so paint in your chosen colour cannot be returned under Polish consumer law (art. 38.1.3 of the Consumer Rights Act). You can reduce the risk of a mistake by checking the shade on the sample catalogue, testing a 1 l tin and working out the quantity in the calculator.
