Meteore 10 Vintage Valpaint is a kit for 12 m²: 12 l of white Meteore 10 plaster, 2 l of Primer 1200, 3 l of C100 Over glaze tinted to your chosen Rif shade and 2 l of C100 Over Bianco glaze - a wall with a soft, irregular pattern in a retro spirit, printed through a mandala stencil that you buy separately.
You choose the colour of the decoration above the price from the Meteore 10 sample book - it is the shade of the glaze, because the plaster itself is white. What is the Vintage effect Meteore 10?
The Vintage effect is a Valpaint wall decoration in which a mandala ornament is printed through a stencil onto white Meteore 10 plaster, and the whole surface is coloured with C100 Over glaze in your chosen shade and softened with Bianco glaze - the result is a subtle, irregular texture in delicate, washed colours, like a wall from an old interior. Retro style meets a modern finish here, because the base is the same plaster we use for the concrete effect.
The kit contains the plaster, primer and both glazes for 12 m² of wall; the mandala stencil with your chosen pattern is bought separately.

How to create the Vintage effect step by step
- Paint the wall with diluted Primer 1200.
- Apply white Meteore 10 plaster with a trowel.
- Without adding a second coat, go over the whole surface with a roller.
- Spray the wall with water and smooth it with a trowel.
- Stick the separately bought mandala stencil in the chosen spot.
- Apply Meteore 10 over the stencil.
- Peel off the stencil.
- Scrape the excess layer of Meteore 10 off the ornament with a spatula.
- Add Meteore 10 locally wherever the pattern needs filling in.
- Apply the C100 Over glaze tinted to your chosen Rif shade.
- Once dry, apply the C100 Over Bianco glaze.

What exactly is in the Vintage kit for 12 m²?
Four products: 12 l of Meteore 10 plaster in Bianco, 2 l of Primer 1200, 3 l of C100 Over glaze tinted to your chosen Rif shade and 2 l of C100 Over Bianco glaze. Why is the plaster in the kit white if I am choosing a colour?
In the Vintage effect the colour is not in the plaster but in the glaze: we tint 3 l of C100 Over to your chosen Rif shade from the Meteore 10 sample book, while the white Bianco plaster gives the light background and the stencilled ornament. The second glaze, Bianco, washes the colour at the end and gives the aged look.
Is the mandala stencil in the kit and how do I choose the pattern?
No - you buy the stencil separately, from the first tile in the description or from Related products. On its listing you choose one of 20 patterns in different sizes, and you can see examples of finished walls in this product gallery; if you want several ornaments on one wall, add several stencils to your basket.
Can the Vintage effect be done by yourself?
It is 11 steps: plaster, roller, smoothing, stencil, touch-ups with a spatula and two glazes - the technique itself is not hard, but it takes patience and a steady hand with the stencil. If you have other trowel decorations behind you, you will manage; if not, a professional decorator is the safer choice.
Can I use Vintage in a bathroom or kitchen?
The base is Meteore 10 plaster, which once finished is also used in kitchens and hallways. The Vintage kit ends with a glaze, not a sealer, so for areas in direct contact with water write to us before ordering - we will advise whether and how to protect the wall additionally.
Can I return the Vintage kit if the colour does not suit me?
We tint the glaze to your Rif shade to order, so tinted colours cannot be returned. Before you order, borrow the Meteore 10 sample book, look through the gallery and work out the area with the calculator - then you will not be left with surplus or with a shade that looked different on screen.
How does Vintage differ from the Moon effect on the same plaster?
Moon builds texture with pits in tinted plaster and brings it out with one glaze. Vintage works on white plaster: the pattern comes from a mandala stencil and the colour from two glazes - tinted and white. The result is flat and soft in colour, rather than three-dimensional and cratered.
We tint the glaze to your order. Colours prepared to the sample book are made to your individual specification and, under Polish consumer law (art. 38.1.3 of the Consumer Rights Act), cannot be returned. Borrow the sample book, look through the gallery and work out the quantity with the calculator on this page before you order.
