Bolix T Priming Agent

Bolix T is a high-quality strengthening primer designed for preparing mineral substrates before applying adhesives, mortars, plasters, and other finishing layers. 

Its purpose is to stabilize, reinforce, and reduce the absorbency of the substrate, ensuring better adhesion and durability of subsequent layers.

The product is easy to apply, solvent-free, and safe to use. It dries quickly and, once cured, forms a strong and uniform primed surface.

Applications of Bolix T:

BOLIX T is intended for priming:

• dusty, absorbent, and weakened surfaces,
• walls and floors indoors and outdoors before:
• installation of ceramic or stone claddings,
• application of leveling mortars (e.g. BOLIX W),
• execution of plasters and gypsum skim coats,
• bonding of gypsum plasterboards or thermal insulation boards,
• installation of floors and anhydrite screeds,
• execution of reinforced layers of thermal insulation systems prior to plastering.

Application method of Bolix T:

1. Substrate preparation

• The substrate must be sound, dry, clean, and free from dust, grease, bitumen, and other substances that reduce adhesion.
• Old lime paints and adhesive coatings should be removed; hard, glossy paints should be roughened with sandpaper.

2. Product preparation

• The primer is ready to use – no dilution required.
• Slight tinting with pigment is allowed to facilitate application control.

3. Application

• apply with a brush, roller, or spray method,
• apply evenly, avoiding puddles,
• carry out subsequent work after the layer has dried (min. 4 hours).
• During application, protect the surface from sun, wind, and precipitation.
