Bolix Wall Slats Wood Panel are innovative decorative panels imitating wood, designed for use both on building façades and in interior spaces.

Thanks to the realistic reproduction of wood structure and grain, they allow the creation of unique, modern, and elegant slatted surfaces with a ribbed appearance.

The panels are made of a durable cement-resin composite with added microfibers, ensuring high mechanical resistance, flexibility, and long-lasting durability in all conditions.

Key features of the slats:

• Natural wood effect – realistically reproduced wood grain structure and deep ribbing.
• Premium decorative element – ideal for façade finishing and interior accents (e.g. TV walls, halls, staircases).
• Easy installation and adjustment – panels can be cut using an angle grinder or miter saw.

• Flexibility – panels work together with the substrate, minimizing the risk of cracking.
• Replace traditional plasters in ETICS insulation systems and on non-insulated walls.

Application of ribbed panels / slats:

The panels are intended for decorative finishing of:

• facades of new and modernized buildings,
• ETICS insulation systems with EPS polystyrene,
• interior walls in homes, commercial premises, and offices,
• mineral substrates (concrete, cement and cement-lime plasters),
• fiber-cement boards, cement-bonded particle boards, gypsum boards, and gypsum plasters.
• Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, making the panels a universal decorative solution.

Installation of Bolix Wall Slats Wood Panel:

1. Substrate preparation

•   The substrate must be even, load-bearing, clean, and dry.
•   Absorbent substrates should be primed (e.g. BOLIX N or BOLIX UltraGrunt).
•   Before installing the panels, always apply **BOLIX OP** primer.

2. Panel bonding

•   Use BOLIX KD PANEL adhesive (consumption approx. 2.8 kg/m²).
•   Apply the adhesive with a 6×6 mm notched trowel and rub thoroughly into the substrate.
•   Install the panels vertically (recommended) from left to right.
•   Maintain a gap of approx. 5 mm, then close the elements to 2 mm or butt-jointed.
•   All joints and edges must be fully filled with adhesive to prevent water migration.

3. Surface finishing

•   After a minimum of 24 hours from installation, prime the panels with BOLIX T.
•   After 4 hours, apply BOLIX DECO LAZUR glaze, rubbing it in with a sponge along the ribs.
•   For a deeper effect, two layers of glaze may be applied – the finish is semi-matte.
