Primer 1200 is a water-based wall primer intended for interior and exterior use.
Description
Primer 1200 is an undercoat for Valpaint decorations - one product prepares the wall for Klondike Corten, Meteore 10, Rococo stucco and Setavel, with a coverage of 8-10 m² per litre.
It suits interior and exterior use, and comes in 1 l and 2.5 l tins - white or tinted to the colour of your decoration. Work out the quantity for your area with the calculator on this page.

What is the Primer 1200 undercoat?
Primer 1200 Valpaint is a priming undercoat for walls, intended for interior and exterior use. Its job is to prepare the surface before decorative paints go on, especially those from the Valpaint range. It is characterised by high adhesion, thanks to which the decorative paint bonds better with the wall - and that increases the durability and looks of the final finish. Before painting, you dilute it with water at a ratio of about 15-20% and mix it thoroughly.

What do I apply Primer 1200 with?

How do I prepare the wall for the primer?
The surface should be clean, dry and free of contaminants - dust, grease and other dirt. Prepare it additionally as you would for painting with an ordinary decorative topcoat - that increases the primer's effectiveness.
White or tinted - which should I choose?
As standard, the primer is white. If you need it tinted to the specific colour of your decoration, include that information when placing the order and we will prepare that version.
Can I return the primer?
Tinted primer is prepared to individual order, so it is not returnable. The white version is a standard product and our shop's general return rules apply to it.
