Setavel Silk Effect – Kit for 10 m²

The Setavel Valpaint silk effect allows you to achieve an effective decorative wall finish.

The kit includes Primer 1200 base paint and Setavel decorative paint for covering 10 m².

Setavel is a water-based decorative interior paint distinguished by a matte finish with a silk effect that is soft to the touch. It gives interiors a subtle, modern elegance, enhancing surfaces with a delicate, refined movement. 

Main features of Setavel:

• An easy-to-apply decorative finishing coating for interiors.
• Adds subtle, modern elegance to rooms, enhancing surfaces with a delicate, refined movement. 
• After 15 days from application, it is moderately washable – clean gently with a soft, slightly damp sponge to avoid streaks or discoloration. 
• After full curing, it forms a vapor-permeable coating with good resistance to normal wear.

Application of the Setavel silk effect:

• Ensure that the substrate is properly stable; remove all contaminants such as dust, wax, grease, silicone, soap, and anything that may reduce adhesion. 
• Remove old paint if it is loose or flaking, and wash with a suitable cleaning agent. 
• Then carry out any necessary plaster repairs and, once dry, apply Primer 1200 using a roller, brush, or spray. 
• After 6 hours at 20°C, proceed with the application of Setavel.
• Apply the first coat of Setavel using a PV 43 stainless steel trowel, making strokes of varying lengths in all directions. 
• Wait 3–4 hours at 20°C, then apply the second coat of Setavel irregularly (“leopard spots”). 
• After covering an area of approximately 1 m², fill in the gaps with short, overlapping, and crisscrossing trowel movements.
